Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ First Dream Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ Forwarded to late night
[Good evening Luceti. Are you all doing well? Lets hope you're getting some good rest and shut eye because it's usually a long day in the craziest village ever.
Tonight another New Feather will arrive. A rather late arrival, but she came to join all of you. Dropping from the sky at full speed and then disappearing in a flash. Give her a good welcome as she comes to visit you while you sleep. No, she's isn't the tooth fairy. Or the sandman. She's another thing entirely.
Enjoy having a special visitor in your dreams.]

The Mayor. Of our home. Well, not really a home. But he turned into a demon and tried to eat us all. Very rude of him. So we blew him up. Simple, really.

That sounds horrible. So, what are you looking for then?
no subject
It used to be here.

But this was where things made sense before. Find the right book, find the right spell, and it all makes sense. And it doesn't anymore.

Positive you don't want some help? Looks like you might be searching for a while without it.
no subject
If you want.

But I'm always disagreeing on that front. Don't mind me.

That's okay. I just don't like 'going by the book', as they say. You can a lot outside the boundaries of a book if you branch out.
[She goes back to shuffling through the ashes with that.]

[As he's shuffling, a bit of red pokes through the ashes. Giles picks it up carefully - it's one of the bundles of feathers, blood red]

[Her back is turned to him, so she doesn't notice the feathers. But she does notice the lack of shuffling noises on his part and crooks her head around her shoulder.]
Did you find something?
no subject
[Then he shakes his head and amends] I never really was to begin with, though. I was a Watcher who was pretending to be a librarian. There is a difference, although I can see where you'd miss it.
[He holds up the bunch of red feathers for Paprika to see]

Did any birds blow up with this library by accident?
no subject
This is all to do with where I am now. With the wings. A-And the feathers, as well.
I don't know why they are. Neither does she, and she's usually the one to solve things.

She? A friend of yours?

I don't have my books. It's annoying.

You sound like someone I used to know.
