[Around the afternoon, Paprika was released from the experimental alternate universe and went back to being her cheery dream girl self. And, like most others, she thought she was spared from the continued experiments.

Oh how wrong she was.

Like on the first night she arrived in Luceti, Paprika is going to be dropping into people's dreams through teleportation. Prepare to get your dreamspace invaded citizens of Luceti. Please don't kill her for this - she really doesn't want to imagine the crazy stuff you dream of.]

[He's surprised to see her next to him, but he smiles a little at her presence.]

Oh hello Miss Paprika, I didn't see you there. Ah yes, I'm both in a way. I'm more of a user of magic than much of a sword fighter.

I'm surprised. Well, I guess you might be a different Chopin than the one in my history. At least I thinks so - never read any history books that said magic existed in the 1800's.

Perhaps I am, Miss Paprika. The books of history aren't all exactly spoken truth about me, so you shouldn't believe everything you read in books.

Oh, trust me I know that. I'm not much of a person who looks for knowledge in a book. The concept of magic is just odd to me in real life terms, but I'm getting adjusted to it. Stuff like that only existed in fictional tales and dreams, but seeing it real is a bit fun.

[Her eyes sharpen and her tone flattens.] I can't say I am really. No offense, but I'm a woman of science.

[she pauses and then begins to laugh.]

You're a much brighter person than that, Miss Paprika. Sometimes I think the man who eventually comes to hold your heart will be a very lucky one indeed.

Oh, I got married back home. [Well not her but rather Atsuko. She just likes to use it as an excuse to drive away romantics.] Sweet guy, even if he does have a couple bad eating habits.

I have, but it's okay. He probably doesn't even realize I'm gone. [She reaches into her pockets and pulls out a picture (http://i54.tinypic.com/2zioj85.jpg). The picture is purely a result of the dream and will disappear after all this. She hands it to Chopin.] Here. This is what he looks like.

[He looks at the picture of him and smiles a little.] He seems like a very kind man, you both must be so happy together. [He looks a little sad.] I'm afraid I don't have a wife of my own, otherwise I would tell you about her.

He is. Very open to everything. Even if he could work a little on personal appearance. [She looks at him and notices his sadness.] I'm surprised to hear that Chopin. Any woman would be lucky to have you put a ring on their finger.

I was engaged once, but my fiancee's parents thought I was too big of a risk to be her husband. [He sighs and frowns.] Since then, I doubt any woman wants me. Not only am I very old, but I'm also too distrusting of others.

That's a shame. Arranged marriages are always such headaches from what I've studied. But don't say that. You aren't old and I think you can find a wonderful woman who would like you!

We did love one another very much, I wish we could have been together. [He shakes his head.] I do not think so, Miss Paprika. What kind of woman could love a man such as myself? I have so many flaws that could make a woman run away or become disgusted with me.

[...] Do you want to know more about my husband? [She doesn't wait for him to answer.] That man is a modern day genius. He's the one who invented the psychotherapy machines I work with and he's absolutely brilliant. But, he's a total slob. Obese, lazy, behaves almost like a child and can eat twice his weight in food.

Every person has their flaws, Chopin. The beauty of being in love is looking past what's outside and looking at the inside. And inside, I think you're a wonderful man.

[He gives her a gentle yet sad smile.] You wouldn't say such a thing if you knew my true self, Miss Paprika. I don't talk about myself much to people because I'm afraid they will hate me or look down on me for my flaws.

My own self and life, I've never truly liked them. Being sickly all the time, it made me unhappy and so I only found small joys in certain things. Even then as I grew sicker, my life became empty except I also began to appreciate the small things in life as well.

That's understandable. Many people born with weak immune systems and sickness often curse healthy people and dislike life because of the unfortunate situation they were given at birth. It doesn't make you a bad person, Chopin.

Since no longer being ill though, I've begun to try and be healthier. I'm tired of feeling so sickly and weak, I want to be stronger and healthier. Even if I still have issues and flaws I want to hide, I know I can overcome them little by little.

You aren't doing yourself any good by hiding them. A step to overcoming them is accepting that they exist and dealing with them day by day. If you're hiding them you aren't doing anything about them.

I do acknowledge they exist and I do live with them, I simply can't tell others about them so I hide them from the world. Can you truly blame me for wanting to hide them because I'm so afraid people will dislike me? In all honesty, I use to not like talking very much to people, but I did it because I had to. Since being here and having my life changed though, I realized I couldn't do that anymore so I began to open up myself little by little.

[He stands up from his sitting spot as the scene around them changes into what appears to be a salon party during the 19th century. Frederic's clothes have also changed into something more suitable for the party. That doesn't seem to bother him though, as he stands in the doorway to the party yet doesn't move at all.]
