Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ Second Dream Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ Forwarded to late night

[Around the afternoon, Paprika was released from the experimental alternate universe and went back to being her cheery dream girl self. And, like most others, she thought she was spared from the continued experiments.

Oh how wrong she was.

Like on the first night she arrived in Luceti, Paprika is going to be dropping into people's dreams through teleportation. Prepare to get your dreamspace invaded citizens of Luceti. Please don't kill her for this - she really doesn't want to imagine the crazy stuff you dream of.]

I was engaged once, but my fiancee's parents thought I was too big of a risk to be her husband. [He sighs and frowns.] Since then, I doubt any woman wants me. Not only am I very old, but I'm also too distrusting of others.

[identity profile] byakkoyagirl.livejournal.com 2010-12-02 04:59 am (UTC)(link)
That's a shame. Arranged marriages are always such headaches from what I've studied. But don't say that. You aren't old and I think you can find a wonderful woman who would like you!

[identity profile] refinedmaestro.livejournal.com 2010-12-02 05:05 am (UTC)(link)
We did love one another very much, I wish we could have been together. [He shakes his head.] I do not think so, Miss Paprika. What kind of woman could love a man such as myself? I have so many flaws that could make a woman run away or become disgusted with me.

[identity profile] byakkoyagirl.livejournal.com 2010-12-02 05:09 am (UTC)(link)
[...] Do you want to know more about my husband? [She doesn't wait for him to answer.] That man is a modern day genius. He's the one who invented the psychotherapy machines I work with and he's absolutely brilliant. But, he's a total slob. Obese, lazy, behaves almost like a child and can eat twice his weight in food.

Every person has their flaws, Chopin. The beauty of being in love is looking past what's outside and looking at the inside. And inside, I think you're a wonderful man.

[identity profile] refinedmaestro.livejournal.com 2010-12-02 05:26 am (UTC)(link)
[He gives her a gentle yet sad smile.] You wouldn't say such a thing if you knew my true self, Miss Paprika. I don't talk about myself much to people because I'm afraid they will hate me or look down on me for my flaws.

[identity profile] byakkoyagirl.livejournal.com 2010-12-02 06:11 am (UTC)(link)
You shouldn't be so self-conscious, Chopin.

[identity profile] refinedmaestro.livejournal.com 2010-12-02 06:43 am (UTC)(link)
My own self and life, I've never truly liked them. Being sickly all the time, it made me unhappy and so I only found small joys in certain things. Even then as I grew sicker, my life became empty except I also began to appreciate the small things in life as well.

[identity profile] byakkoyagirl.livejournal.com 2010-12-02 07:13 am (UTC)(link)
That's understandable. Many people born with weak immune systems and sickness often curse healthy people and dislike life because of the unfortunate situation they were given at birth. It doesn't make you a bad person, Chopin.

[identity profile] refinedmaestro.livejournal.com 2010-12-02 07:48 am (UTC)(link)
Since no longer being ill though, I've begun to try and be healthier. I'm tired of feeling so sickly and weak, I want to be stronger and healthier. Even if I still have issues and flaws I want to hide, I know I can overcome them little by little.

[identity profile] byakkoyagirl.livejournal.com 2010-12-02 07:50 am (UTC)(link)
You aren't doing yourself any good by hiding them. A step to overcoming them is accepting that they exist and dealing with them day by day. If you're hiding them you aren't doing anything about them.

[identity profile] refinedmaestro.livejournal.com 2010-12-02 08:12 am (UTC)(link)
I do acknowledge they exist and I do live with them, I simply can't tell others about them so I hide them from the world. Can you truly blame me for wanting to hide them because I'm so afraid people will dislike me? In all honesty, I use to not like talking very much to people, but I did it because I had to. Since being here and having my life changed though, I realized I couldn't do that anymore so I began to open up myself little by little.

[identity profile] byakkoyagirl.livejournal.com 2010-12-02 02:52 pm (UTC)(link)
I can't blame you. People always hide things about themselves to make a better impression on people. You aren't a bad person for it.

[He stands up from his sitting spot as the scene around them changes into what appears to be a salon party during the 19th century. Frederic's clothes have also changed into something more suitable for the party. That doesn't seem to bother him though, as he stands in the doorway to the party yet doesn't move at all.]

[identity profile] byakkoyagirl.livejournal.com 2010-12-02 11:04 pm (UTC)(link)
[The scene change doesn't faze her and she stands as well. Her outfit isn't changing just yet, but she does look around curiously.]

A memory?

[identity profile] refinedmaestro.livejournal.com 2010-12-02 11:22 pm (UTC)(link)
[He looks at her and with a small nod, but he only remains in the doorway as he watches the people in the room.]

Yes it is, a memory of home. I've begun to think I'm meant to belong here and I should simply give up on trying to live in Luceti.

[identity profile] byakkoyagirl.livejournal.com 2010-12-02 11:24 pm (UTC)(link)
You know, I can understand if people want to stay in Luceti instead of going back home. I don't think you should give up on trying to live here. You've met good people here, I'm sure.

[identity profile] refinedmaestro.livejournal.com 2010-12-02 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)
I have. Yet I've also...hurt others.

[The beautiful scene changes again to a wasteland that's red like blood and Paprika will see another him that looks more evil as he cuts and slices through various people, particularly people he's friends with. After he's done, all the bodies are stained red and the evil him is standing over them as he smirks with a sinister laugh.]

[identity profile] byakkoyagirl.livejournal.com 2010-12-03 12:04 am (UTC)(link)
[She frowns at the sight. It isn't clear to her whether this is because of the experiment or not, but either way she doesn't like what she sees.]

Chopin, I can't believe you did it intentionally.

[identity profile] refinedmaestro.livejournal.com 2010-12-03 12:19 am (UTC)(link)
[He continues watching himself act violently until the other evil him starts going crazy as the other begins inflicting pain on everything around it.]

Of course I'd never do such things intentionally. Yet there was one time where I did, thinking only of myself as I cut them down one by one. Can you honestly say I'm a good person when you know what I'm capable of? I'm a horrid person.

[identity profile] byakkoyagirl.livejournal.com 2010-12-03 02:29 am (UTC)(link)
That was then and this is now. You admit your faults and want to change. [She smiles at him softly.] I find that admirable.

[identity profile] refinedmaestro.livejournal.com 2010-12-03 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
Thank you Miss Paprika, you speak such kind words and I wish I could return the kindness you've given to me.

[The scenery changes once more to a scene of his room (http://xbox360media.ign.com/xbox360/image/article/751/751899/eternal-sonata--20061220041210073.jpg) with himself in the bed, but no one is around him. The other him looks very depressed and he walks towards the other him with a small frown, only to then stop as his body begins trembling a little.]

[identity profile] byakkoyagirl.livejournal.com 2010-12-03 02:57 am (UTC)(link)
[Her eyes follow Chopin and she walks behind him, putting a hand on his shoulder, but not saying anything.]

[identity profile] refinedmaestro.livejournal.com 2010-12-03 03:01 am (UTC)(link)
[His eyes turn to Paprika and he begins looking very sad. The other him is staring at the piano across from his bed as he gets up from the bed to begin playing a piece on it.] This is me, no, the true Frederic Chopin. I'm not even real, I'm only the dream reflection of his being.

So? Why does that matter?

[She says this a bit more passionately than her previous tone. Because this is something she completely relates to.]

[identity profile] refinedmaestro.livejournal.com 2010-12-03 07:52 am (UTC)(link)
Because I'm living the life of someone else, someone who everyone believes me to be. How can I tell others that I'm not the person they believe I am?

[He sounds so sad as he watches the other him continue playing the piano as if nothing else matters to him.]
