Dream Log (Recorded Morn. 4/24)
-Vivid colors. A lot of oranges, reds and yellows.
-Mundane creatures doing bizarre things. A lot of chaotic noise.
-A china doll on an emperor's chair.
-Blue butterflies.

Dream Log (Recorded Morn. 4/25)
-The same things repeat from the last night.
-A man (?) with two heads among the butterflies. Facial features unrecognizable.
-My name is being called by an older sounding voice. Very frantic tone.
-A woman in a white lab coat with black hair.
--I don't know her name but she feels familiar.

[Voice (Morning of the 25th)]

Everyone, first of all please remain calm over the dreams you've been having. The frequent rate of bizarre nightmares means they are very likely planted shifts put into the mainstream subconscious. There is no need to be alarmed. Dreams are just dreams and can't hurt you.

Second of all, I guess I should stop being a lazy bum. I run a small clinic around these parts. Most people would refer to me as a shrink, but I prefer the term 'psychologist'. Sleep and dream therapy are two of my specialties I like to say!

My business is a bit more obscure these days, but if anyone wants to talk about the strange things they've been seeing, I'll gladly be an ear for you to vent and get some professional advice. Free of charge. And if you don't want to talk with me, just go talk with someone. Or write what you have been dreaming of. It could help. I'll be open all day long for those that want to schedule short sessions with me.

Also don't avoid sleep over this. I mean it, that does nothing good to your body.

Yeah, I think I'll just sit.

[He moves over to the couch and sits down and takes up a relaxed position. He's not too worried about these dreams and isn't afraid to talk about them. So he feels quiet comfortable sitting with his aunt.]

Yeah, it's strange. Lately most of them have taken place in a desert. Although I had one or two where I had the feeling I was actually in space. The space ones I don't wake up with any strange feelings, but always with the ones on the desert.

I'm always meeting interesting people in the dreams and have a lot of fun, but when I wake up, I always tend to have these odd feelings. I feel almost sad, but that's not quiet right. I feel... like I haven't accomplished something and that something important is missing.

Deserts, huh? Empty wastelands filled with nothing, not even water to drink from. Or was there something in this desert to be found? Do any people you recognize appear perhaps?

There were towns of people here and there. They were always built around these giant light bulbs. Weird, huh? But I don't think there was anything else out there in the desert.

[Vash pauses a moment in thought.] Well, the preacher from the church, Wolfwood, he was in one. His girlfriend Milly too. And... another girl I remember seeing around town, but I can't remember her name.

The couple dreams I've had in space. I... I don't know if you remember Rem. She was Wolfwood's first wife, but looked up to her a lot when I was a kid before she died. She's always in the dreams in space and I'm always a little kid again, only there's another kid with us too. There are a couple other adults around, but the dreams always seem to focus on her and the other boy.

Giant light bulbs. Huh. [It's not the weirdest thing she has ever heard, but it is quite close.]

You're close to the preacher and her, right? Sometimes familiar people appear in dreams for a good reason. ...I can't say I remember much of Rem. I was still a bit young back then myself. This second boy though, do you know his name? Or can you recall what he looked like?

[Vash thinks hard for a moment. The dream having grown a bit hazy by now.]

I think... I think he actually looked a lot like me, but I can't remember...

A lot like you. Do you remember how he behaved? Was he like you in personality as well?

[This answer comes rather quick.] He was a lot quieter.

[The quickness makes her chuckle a little, as she finally sits down on a chair opposite the couch herself.]

So you were friendly with this boy in the dream?

I felt very close to him, we played together a lot. And I felt like he and Rem would take care of me.

[She smiles a little at his description.]

So you never met this boy before, yet he looks similar to you. How strange. Like a long lost twin.

Yeah, that seems like a good way to put it. Strange, huh?

Have you ever wanted a twin brother? I know your family is big and it's easy to be lost sometimes.

[He takes a moment to give that some serious thought.] No... I can't say I have. Amelia was more than enough of a brother for me. [He teases.]

Maybe a son then? If he looks like you.

[Vash stares dumbly for only a brief moment before he breaks into a blush.] Well, Vivi and I have been trying.

[She chuckles.]

Been wanting a son then? Who knows, maybe that could be affecting the shifts causing these dreams too.

Well, a family really. I'd be just as happy if we had a girl.

That could be mixing in with the shifts happening. Although, I have heard people having bad dreams. Do you think you had any yet?

Well, I did dream that a whole town was trying to kill me once, but that was more fun and silly than scary. I knew they wouldn't be able to catch me, and by the end of the dream we were all friends and drinking together. Not what I'd call scary or bad.

...My, that sounds really crazy. Like something from a novel. Really interesting!

Ahahaha, or a crazy dream!

Everything can be crazy if put into perspective. [She winks a little and stretches her arms.] Where do you think these series of dreams are going?

Hmmm, to be honest, I really don't know.
