✯ Sixth Session ✯ [Accidental Written?] Dated to Wednesday Afternoon

[During the afternoon, if one is to catch the journal feed they may notice what looks like a black splotch on the feed. If one looks long enough, they will notice that this splotch is growing slowly. Eventually it starts taking on this form:]

[As the splotch grows, the journal camera catches a young woman grumbling, while rubbing her head in frustration. That young woman being Paprika. ...At least it looks like she's grumbling. Because, no matter how much it appears that she's talking, no words come out of her mouth that can be even caught in the slightest by the journal. Meanwhile the inkblot stops as soon as she does. It doesn't seem she has noticed just yet that her journal is open.]

[ooc: Paprika is back from her kidnapping. Her experimentation side-effect is that her words are being translated into the journal as Rorschach Inkblots and none of her speech can be heard. She doesn't realize this and is under the illusion that nothing has happened to her. The blots can be interpreted in whatever way you want your character to see them as. I'll put what she's actually saying in brackets for convenience. Replies will be accompanied by images, so please specify in the subject line if you want it linked as a URL if your computer can't take image loading or if tinypic is blocked for some reason! Also this post is image heavy in the comments.]

...

[She shakes her head. Clearly something is wrong with her voice if he can't hear her.

Or maybe he's just crazy, given what he's been saying about the images.

...It's probably her though.]

[Hey, he is totally mostly sane! Honest!] Right---sounds like you need to be treated by a doctor. Unless you think it's some sort of experiment? Can you write, instead?

[She's sure it's the former and tries to write it being such. But, in the process of writing, the words suddenly jumble up and crash into each other, creating another inkblot.]

Right. This isn't going well. I'm going out on a limb here, lass, and suggesting that this is indeed a Malnosso-related side effect.

And that that is a large, melting ice cream cone. With a cherry on top.

[She looks at the image for a moment. Then back at him. And then she laughs. These interpretations sure are amusing, even if this test normally is a serious one.]

And now I'm hungry again. McCoy says I'm getting a bit too heavy, but I starved for months on that rock, didn't I? A little extra padding isn't a bad thing.

[She nods enthusiastically. Depriving yourself of food is never a good thing!]

[Well THAT cheers him up! A little extra Scotty never hurt anyone!] Cheers, lass. Now: I'm no doctor, I'm an engineer. HOWEVER---I think your best bet is to wait this mute malady out. There's not much can be done, from what I've seen, when someone is sent back with something wanting.
