✯ Fourth Session ✯

...There are a lot more people here than I remembered.

Do these mass increases happen often, or am I just imagining things?

[ooc: for the purposes of the 4th wall, Paprika is visible to everyone. Pick any time during the two days you want.]

[ He's reaching into his pocket for something almost like it's a reflex. ]

A dream psychotherapist? Interesting. So tell me, what's your definitive litmus test for telling whether you're in a dream or not?

[identity profile] byakkoyagirl.livejournal.com 2010-12-19 07:45 am (UTC)(link)
[She notices that, but says nothing.]

For starters, if things look too real to be true then they probably are. Along with that, shifts in the dream would regularly occur that I am trained to notice, whether or not the dreamer notices. And third, things being very convenient for a situation.

[She smiles.]

Plus I've been in dreams while I've been here. So for that to happen I would have to be inside of a dream, while being in a dream. [Which has actually happened once, but that's totally different from right now.]

[ When he withdraws his hand from his pocket, his expression changes slightly, though he continues on like nothing's changed. ]

Dreams inside dreams aren't impossible, but that's besides the point.

What is your job, exactly? You help subjects deal with psychological issues by working with their subconscious?

That's the gist of it! It sounds strange, but dreams can tell us a lot about a person's inner conflicts and workings.

[identity profile] windsorknot.livejournal.com 2010-12-20 04:54 am (UTC)(link)
Amongst many other things, yes. It's pretty impressive, what a person's mind is capable of.

Who do you work for, if you don't mind me asking?

[identity profile] byakkoyagirl.livejournal.com 2010-12-20 04:58 am (UTC)(link)
A psychiatric research laboratory in Japan.

[identity profile] windsorknot.livejournal.com 2010-12-20 05:07 am (UTC)(link)
I wasn't aware that that kind of research was going on in Japan. Interesting.

So how did you end up here? Since we're apparently not dreaming.

[identity profile] byakkoyagirl.livejournal.com 2010-12-20 05:33 am (UTC)(link)
It's supposed to be a secret.

We were taken here by a group called the Malnosso. You don't seem to have wings like the rest of us, so maybe you're a select group sent here for one reason or another.

[identity profile] windsorknot.livejournal.com 2010-12-20 05:43 am (UTC)(link)
That goes without saying. It's a relatively new technology, after all.

The Malnosso? I can't say I've ever heard of them. How do wings work into the equation, exactly?

[identity profile] byakkoyagirl.livejournal.com 2010-12-20 05:45 am (UTC)(link)
The wings are supposed to be a life link. Without them no one should be alive in Luceti. Such as yourself.

[identity profile] windsorknot.livejournal.com 2010-12-20 05:49 am (UTC)(link)
And yet here I am. I can't say I'm really complaining about lacking them. Wings wouldn't exactly go well with my suit.
