[As soon as the feed clicks on a woman can be seen, eating a bag of popcorn. She's been flipping around her journal for a while and feels her curiosity at it's peek. That and it's raining. Not a fun day at all.]

Hello everyone, I hope you're staying indoors and keeping warm. 'When it rains, it pours!' as the old saying goes. Don't want anyone catching a flu out there.

Hey, I'm curious: what kind of places does everyone come from? An island, a desolate desert, the ocean, the city- maybe you don't even have a place to call home. This 'different worlds' thing is really exciting! Like a merge of different cultures coming all together...against our wills. [It doesn't sound as good now that she thinks about it.]

...Oh, I hope I'm not prying though. Some people think I do that a lot, so don't be offended. I'm not going to store this information away for nefarious means. It's just a way to spend time waiting for the sun to come up. Exchanging stories that we might never hear in our 'world' sounds fun, don't you think?

[She's about to click off the feed, but then remembers something important.]

Wait! Almost forgot: thanks to everyone who helped me get settled into this place a couple weeks back. You know who you are.

How are you and the others from Sunnydale doing? No troubles like the Hellmouth I hope.

We're doing fairly well. Willow and I have a project. Xander's...well, Xander. And Buffy's keeping busy.

What sort of project? If it's okay to ask.

[Giles hesitates for a second before replying]

We're trying to get in contact with all the spirits.

Hm. The spirits that live around the area, right? Their names aren't popping up in my head. [Mainly because she skimmed most of the guide.]

I've managed to make contact with Nala, and briefly with Sona.

I don't know how her efforts have been going, however. [And he feels...more than a little guilty about that]

Why don't you ask her? Or have you not found the time yet?

Haven't...really found the time.

This is new territory for both of us.

I can only begin to imagine how. Not particularly partial to the spirits myself, but you both have fun with them. I'm sure she's wondering about your progress too.

If you don't like magic then why make contact with the spirits? Just to see if you can?

Mostly for Willow. She's very nervous.

So you're trying to instill confidence in her. That's very kind of you.

Healing magic? If she exists then why even have a clinic though.

Because magic isn't something you should rely on. When it fails, mundane means remain.

Besides, not everyone here knows it.

That's a very good way to think of it. I'm sure some people here only know how to use magic.

An astute observation! I admittedly don't know it. Don't think I'll need a clinic any time soon hopefully. [Getting torn in half didn't stop her from healing ten minutes later.]

Hopefully, yes. But it's there if you need it.

I imagine healing magic is one of those things you hope to never actually need.

It's just one of those things you always want to have in case something goes wrong. [She shrugs] I'm not into getting battle scars if I can avoid it, but I hope you keep yourself safe.

I don't work for cheap, so I guess it is practically speaking.

So your job back home was actually to go into people's dreams?

...how much did you get paid for that, just out of curiosity?

Yes. I was a dream therapist back home.

Hm. ...More than a librarian can afford~! [She giggles. Actually the last job she had was done for free on a favor, but she doubts it would be cheap considering the sensitive equipment they were using.]

I survived over a year with no paycheck at all, so I think in terms of income you'd have me beat anyway.

How do you do that? What you do with the dreams? It shouldn't be as easy as it seemed to be for you.
