Scale (out of 6):
★ (Trust) -> How much Paprika is willing to let the other know about her.
❤ (Affection) -> How much Paprika cares about the other/is friendly with them.
♦ (Time Spent) -> How familiar she is with the other.
√ (Patient [one mark]) -> Denotes if your character has talked to Paprika about their problems/has trusted her with certain information.

♦♦♦♦♦♦
Atsuko Chiba (Not in Luceti)

The person who dreamed of Paprika and therefore her creator/co-worker. Paprika will never let on that she deeply cares for the other woman and wants the best for her real self. Maybe it's just that stubborn sort of affection she inherited from Atsuko that makes it so. While the scientist isn't in Luceti, Paprika thinks about her on a daily basis and wonders if she's doing well. Whether Atsuko realizes Paprika is gone or not doesn't matter, because Paprika only wants Atsuko's happiness in the end with or without her.

♦♦♦♦(√)
Frederic Francis Chopin (Eternal Sonata)

While Paprika has many people she talks to and get be friendly with, it's normally on a professional basis. Rarely does she let the feeling that she's trying to figure someone out while talking to them drop. She's too dedicated to her work. But, with Frederic, she feels like she can actually do something like that. He's a sweet man and feels a sense of comfort when around him. Along with that, his admission of being a dream like creation to her makes her happy to know that she has his trust.

Recently he has confessed to having romantic feelings for her, which she turned down after admitting to him that she was a dream and not a real person. While she wonders in the back of her head if he really has gotten over it, she doesn't push the matter and they still remain good friends.

♦♦
Selphie Tilmitt (Final Fantasy VIII)

Selphie is one of the first people Paprika interacted with over the journals and loves her attitude and outlook on everything that goes on. Probably because they just have such similar carefree lifestyles that relating to Selphie is easy for Paprika, which makes it easier to talk with her. Most times Paprika tries to dissect a person's personality while she talks with them, but she doesn't do that with Selphie because of how relaxing the girl makes everything. She's welcoming, enjoying to talk with and never makes a boring moment during their chats.

♦♦♦(√)
Derek Bliss (Vampires: Los Muertos)

She never expected such an eventful first night in Luceti, but Derek certainly gave her one. He's a very grounded person from what she can tell, but worries about him because of what she learned. Of course she's not going to go around telling people and she won't talk about it again if he doesn't want to, but he does interest her. Supernatural things don't exist in her world, so seeing that something that normally belongs in dreams being out in reality certainly peeks her curiosity just a little. Regardless of that, she knows Derek is a person who means well in the end.

♦♦♦
Sanji (One Piece)

Sanji is such a sweet guy and she thinks he's a joy to talk with. Even though his flirting is incredibly obvious, to a comedic point, she doesn't mind it at all. As a matter of fact, that flirting makes it easy for her be comfortable because it isn't so awkward or dull. It's almost a shame she can't interact with him on a physical level because she would like to have a meal and drink with him. On top of that he's not someone she really tries to dissect and figure out during their conversations, just because of that free air he has around him. He's a good guy at heart and she hopes he finds the woman of his dreams to be with him.

Not that she's going to be that woman, even if she is in his dreams.

❤❤
♦♦♦
Caesar Silverburg (Suikoden III)

Caesar, to Paprika, is someone with a lot of potential that he may not even realize himself. He can do great things, but simply doesn't do them or chooses not to. He's smart, quick on his feet and a nice person to talk with. Yet there's an air of indifference that surrounds him at times that she can't shake off. What is the cause of this is unclear, but she finds it isn't her place to pry to begin with, no matter how curious she gets.

Putting that aside, he's a good natured kid and she only wishes the best for him. And he is also on her list of people she consistently teases for the sake of teasing.
★★★★
❤❤❤
♦♦♦(√)
Kouki Warashi (Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor)

Her fellow tokyoite. Kouki is rather puzzling for Paprika, because sometimes he seems so normal and average, but other times he just isn't that way at all. He has some things he needs to come to terms with and the creatures that she's seen that come from his world remind her almost of a video game. In a way he is very mundane, but can potentially be extraordinary. She wants to see the latter and see him succeed in his endeavors, because he seems like the kind of person who can do that if he tries. He's easy to talk with and enjoys his company when she can have it.

And, admittedly, being able to go through Tokyo in a dream is always a good reminder of home

❤❤❤❤
♦♦
Elicia Hughes (Full Metal Alchemist [manga verse])

A young girl who lives with her father in Luceti. Paprika enjoys doting on her when she gets the chance, always amused at Elicia's reactions to her dream powers. She's a sweet child and Paprika is sure she'll grow up to a wonderful adult in the future. Until then, she'll gladly get along with the girl when she has the chance and encourage her to keep growing.

★★★★
❤❤❤
♦♦♦(√)
Luke fon Fabre (Tales of Abyss)

Poor Luke. He is so easy for Paprika to tease and to fool around with for starters and that just makes things all the more fun when she talks with him. He has that childlike mentality about him that seems so free and happy, which makes it easier for Paprika to gravitate to him. Yet, he does have a darker side that Paprika has taken notice of in his dreams. That whole experience was rather strange, because she still wonders how everything she saw could possibly be his fault.

Still, she doesn't think about that too much and doesn't really want to bring it up unless he feels comfortable with it. She thinks Luke is a good kid and wants to help him out when she can. Oh and picking on him is tons of fun, but this was already mentioned.
★★★★★
❤❤❤❤
♦♦♦♦(√)
Giles (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)

She met Giles on her first night and since then has done two things. One: make every possible joke she can about him being a librarian. It never gets old for her.

The second is become quick friends with him. It's surprising given how polarizing they can be at times when it comes to their personalities, but she has grown to want to help Giles very much with the problems he has back home. He means very much to her as a friend and reminds her of a certain detective back home in a small way. Mainly from how he never wants to give up on something and sees through what he puts his mind to. Paprika can certainly respect him and is glad to help him in any way she can. Though she thinks she can be too tough on him sometimes, she genuinely does care about him.
★★
❤❤
♦♦♦
Leonard "Bones" McCoy (Star Trek)

Her fellow (space) doctor. Granted they work in two completely different fields, medical types are always welcome. While she teases him about always saying how he's a doctor and what not, she does admire that devotion he has to his work and to helping others to his best ability. He reminds her very much of Atsuko in that way, because while he can be a stubborn and a skeptic he does have good intentions in the end and does mean well. A generally good natured person, despite his sometimes hard shell. To Paprika that's what matters the most.
★★★★
❤❤❤
♦♦
Buffy (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)

She first learned about Buffy through Giles and, when she got a chance to talk to her, found the other to pique her interest. It's likely because Buffy seems to have her life stuck in some kind of movie, constantly moving onward. At least that's what Paprika thinks from what she knows about Sunnydale, Buffy's main 'hunting grounds'. While she's not particularly close with the other woman, there is a big point that Buffy was the first one in Luceti to learn about her being a dream entity, through a necessary meeting between them in person. She trusts her enough not to tell anyone in too much detail about it, wanting to keep the fact that she isn't real on a low. Other than that, Buffy is a good yet free spirited woman that she likes to talk with.
