A book on someone's life that hasn't died is unreadable. I'm not going to bother reading a book that hasn't even been finished and no one else will too. But, not telling everyone everything all at once isn't too shocking.

Not saying they aren't. I just think you're almost insulting them if you say that you aren't a good person, worthy of their friendship.
